This is the EXACT combo I was going to be doing. Great minds think alike I guess.

Have you weighed the tire and rim? My guess is 39 lbs total, 3 less than stock. Awesome considering the size difference.

How do you find the performance of the tire. Any complaints or comments. Given the choice, would you choose this combo again?

Awesome look. The wheel I'm most seriously considering for my BRZ is the TC105N in 17x8 because of the amazing weight. I'm curious how much difference your lightweight 18x8s made to your ride. Do you feel more responsiveness? Can you feel more power making its way to the road? Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure what the exact weight is, but I think it is 16 to 17 lbs. I don't know that I feel any difference in responsiveness, and you definitely won't feel any more power making it to the road.

The setup was about $3000 mounted and balanced. I swapped my OEM TPMS sensors over to the new setup.

18x8.0 WedsSport TC105N on DGM (comparison to OEM pic)

- 18 x 8.0 +42 WedsSport TC105N's in Titan Silver Metallic, 16.1lbs ea
- 225/40R18 Dunlop Sport Maxx RT (Max performance summer), 21.? lbs ea
- McGard Spline Drive lugs, ~.3 lbs per corner
- ride height gain is 6mm, overall tire is slightly taller (24.7in vs 25.1 in) for a -1.8% error (60mph -> 58.9mph)
- stock 17x7 w/Michelin Primacy is about 40.7 lbs/corner, this setup is approx 37.4 lbs (calculated, not weighed).
