I have no idea why you did just check for holes before you did this, but I think I read somewhere the Toyota one should line up. I will wait, personally, for other cool options. I hope they make a roundel for the 86 logo like the one on the JDM steering wheel.
Hehe, no offense taken. I've used that little pink squeegie so many times on paint without scratching it that I feel comfortable with it, but your technique is probably better advice for others to use.

I didn't really care if there were holes. I expected a 50% chance there would be and I will just fill them for a super clean look. Would have been simpler without holes, but no biggie.

Use Goo Gone or "Honda Polish", since I see an R1 in the reflection.

I used lacquer thinner because my friend that does autobody repair told me it was the strongest thing to use on clearcoat without damaging it. I just spent a few minutes online researching the use of lacquer thinner on OEM clearcoated paint and everything I could find pointed to the same thing: it is safe.

Why is everyone freaking out about lacquer thinner?

(I'm not arguing that it is better to use than the alternatives that were suggested, by the way, but that it is no worse for your car than those alternatives)

You may be able to get away with using hole plugs to fill in the holes, if you can find hole plugs that small.

I just rebadged my FR-S. Front, rear, and wheel caps. Looks good. There are alignment holes on both the front and back emblems. Just a heads up though, the paint on the front bumper is super thin. Be very careful when doing that one. I took a chunk off. Luckily the Toyota emblem covered it.
