looking for lug nuts . any suggestions?

Hi, my bf has a brz and i wanted to get him good lug nuts for his new rims.

He mentioned something about red sr 48 lug nuts a while ago. I have no idea what this is or where to get them. I'm from Mississauga, Ontario

Any suggestions on what kind of brand/ model I should get?

I don't mind spending around 300 for them.

Thanks!

He may be referring to the Muteki SR48 red series. You need to ensure to get the right length and type for the wheels.

Any idea which wheels he has? You can post a pic of them and I am sure people here will help you figure it out

I see them on Amazon and should be around $70-80

I've had 2 sets of Kics Project lug nuts. They are a bit pricey, but IMO worth it. Lightweight, strong, unique locking nut. Not to mention they look cool. But in all honestly, any lug nut from a reputable company will work. They're more of a 'bling' item than anything.

I've got black Muteki short open lugs. Haven't failed me yet and I've probably removed/reinstalled them about 3 dozen times at this point. They are cheap too!

Any conical lug nuts should work. If you are ok with used I'm selling some Project Kics R40s in Neo Chrome. As stated above the Project Kics ones are not cheap but they are good lug nuts.

I've used the Muteki's before also and they are perfectly fine as well.

Basing it on this, I have the STI rims (Series.Blue). Does anyone know which size lug nuts I would need? Looking for all black ones to complete it. There are just so many different models and sizes to these nuts, it's confusing. Any help is appreciated!

I haven't had any issues with my Muteki lug nuts on my S14, and they look pretty nice as well

Muteki +1

The SR48s are not $300. They are $68.18 on Amazon with free shipping. I linked to the page above.

The question is, does he want those $250 lug nuts you linked? She says he told her he wanted some red SR48s. I think she should get him what he wants, not some ridiculously expensive nuts in the wrong color that he might not actually like.
