Good looking car. I used to want an Elise. Now not so much but I would not throw one out of my garage.

Wow, that is the first time I've heard anyone call the Exige "too heavy"! Hahaha!

My 2006 Exige is swapped with a supercharged Honda K24A2. Damn thing scoots like a cat on fire.

I would agree that if one were into the GT86 / FR-S / BRZ they would absolutely love the Elise / Exige. The steering feel is indeed amazing. You feel hardwired into the car. It's difficult to overstate that. I highly recommend everyone experience Lotus chassis engineering and tuning at least once in their lifetime.

Amazingly, the suspension from the factory, for how glorious it is, can be improved further still. A set of Nitron double adjustable coilovers and a beefy front sway bar and MAYBE a slightly quicker steering rack makes the car goddamned telepathic, all without sacrificing any kind of streetability. That is, if you're the kind of whackjob that thinks the Eliges are street cars. (I certainly do, hehehe.)

Alright, fanboi rant over. Back to your regularly scheduled programming.

I just had the answer from Ohlins Sweden. They told me to contact the french distributor, which already gave me a shit answer.

What a lame company.

So jealous right now... I love the wheel/brake combo(and of course, the red 86). Good choice of rubber too.

Can you say anything about the handling/braking or is it too soon already?

I want to hear what you think of the new car compared to your lotus. Lotus is nice but that lil red car is hot

You'll love it in no time!

I only drove slowly on the road so far. Brakes still need to be properly cooked.

The steering feel is a bit better, more accurate, especially off center. But it's still not good. I guess the car needs bushings and ball joints mounted suspensions.
