Recovery rate (recharge?) is better with the odyssey, according to my battery guy. (I'm definitely no expert in lots of things, one of which is batteries) In no way am I suggesting replacing the 0.5dump pack, it was just a comment by the battery guy re the short discharge amps available from the Odyssey. As the open source guys appear to be finding, ESC's involve a bit of voodoo, so I'll be leaving the improvements to Rob. |

Apparently the Odyssey is capable of delivering much higher amps for short periods (such as starting) Though I agree the No's would suggest otherwise.

I have an odyssey in my living room. Going to hook it up by the end of the week, when it gets less than 30 degrees out I'll report back. My battery seems to do great down to 30 or so then it falls off rapidly.

Has anyone on e85 got the winterblend mix, does shivs ESC E85 tune adjust pretty well after a while, or do you think i should just switch to 91?

I went with OFT and glad I did. Stage 1 93oct tune right now and can tell the difference. Tone of the engine changed from VVT adjustments. Also like the soft rev limiter and launch control/2 step feature. ESC and OFT UEL Header next on the list. I am missing the black cap to block off the intake air silencer. Anyone know where I could source that part?

I learned about the Noco GB30 JumpStarter here, so I figure I'll share a great deal I just got on it: $94.12 shipped (Regular street price is $129.99).
Noco GB30 JumpStarter: $99.99 Coupon Code- MK39743: 15% Off $100 Add something cheap to get over the $100 mark (I bought some scouring pads for $1.99) and since I'm in NJ I had to pay sales tax. Final Price for me: $94.12 shipped

Full throttle Electric Supercharger Build Thread
Not that it matters here in San Diego but I snagged an odyssey battery for shits and giggles. I'll let you guys know how it fits and works.

@robwbright Sorry Ive been loosely following this thread as of late. Are you still having battery issues? did you determine if it was the start battery that has gone bad? do you have the stock battery still? maybe install back in the car and drive around for a week without the ESC, this could help you determine if have a drainage issue, just an idea. P.S. Im back to the original starter battery, the same one majority of us are using, it was -20C - -25C in calgary this week and the car wasn't started for 4 days and still started pretty decently. Cheers |

I left my car off for 5 days during my thanksgiving break. When I came back this morning, the car started nice and strong with no hesitations. I don't think it's a drain; my problem was mostly likely weather-related.
