Has anyone checked to see if the +08 WRX brakes will fit with the +35's?

I know the Brembos won't fit, but curious to see if the standard 4 pot/2 pot front rear combo will work.

Or is the AP Sprint kit the only option here?

Well I can confirm that the 17x9 35 offset will not clear the PP Brembos...

I've been wondering about this. What's making contact? Spoke(I think that's what the picture shows)? Barrel? Both?

I went and bought a 3 mm spacer in 5 mm spacer hoping one of the spacers would work but what I had to do was put both of them together (8mm) and this is the clearance I got so this is definitely not gonna work for me...

Ouch, sorry to hear that. Real shame too, this platform and those wheel go so well together.

PP brembos seem almost worst ever fitment-wise for these cars vs all the aftermarket alternative BBKs available :/
I thought one time about retroffitting them, due being one of very few MOT-lgeal brake upgrade options by local rules, bet seeing all these problems with making them fit .. if they will also require wheel switch with most wheels out there .. stockers are not THAT bad

Doesn't seem safe to run them. I'm sure a different size RPF1 would fit. Im positive 17x8 +35 would clear with no problems.

From appearance only these are similar to STI brembo. Finding a wheel in 5x100 to clear the caliper is very limited without running spacer.

Good Luck

Been mentioned a few times on here that the STI brembos wont fit with the 17x9 +35 RPF1.

But does anyone know if the regular 4/2 pot WRX calipers can run with the wheel? They don't look any bigger than the AP Sprint calipers.
