So far I have a Red Perrin Crank pulley, oil change, back-up camera connected to the factory NAV, NAV/DVD bypass, and new door speakers. Ill be doing the dash speakers and an amp pretty soon.
How did you get the NAV/DVD bypass to work? I am not good with wiring, but have wanted to do this since I got the car a couple months ago.

Yeah he actually works here at Hurley's also. We also have a 2011 SWP WRX here...

All of us used to own VWs and have since moved into subarus.

I posted a basic write-up here:
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15239

this shows the back-up camera and the nav bypass.

The nav bypass is done with a switch the way I did it, basically I grounded the e-brake wire and then spliced the VSS and put a switch on it. I have had the VSS switched off since I did it a little more than a week ago and have not had problems with the nav being able to follow me.

And all of them were saying that you can get away without running a plate. No. I didn't have my car for a month before I was pulled over for it, and 2 weeks later they hit me again for it. The last thing you need it to be pulled over for something stuipd and then they can harrass you for other little things.

I'm delivering an FRS Saturday that just had clear bra installed yesterday, the front bumper and fenders that is. I didn't realize we can't wash the car for 7 days after installation , so now I get to deliver a Black FRS that is currently clean, but if the monsoon weather keeps up, it will look like crap.

Yeah people on the internet love to hate. I couldn't care less, I like it and its not a permanent mount or anything so if I want to remove it or move it Its very easy to do.

Best part is most the people bitching about it being off center also tell me I should get the grimmspeed mount... which is off center...

Alex in Columbia MD, Sales/User support for a tech company. I have my FR-S on order and I already ordered my Grimmspeed front relocater. Even if you can get away without it, the offset plate kinda brings it's own cool look.

Can't wait for my car to come in. I ordered about 2 weeks ago. How long do you guys think the wait is running nowadays? I hear some people are getting them around a month after ordering.
