hi steve, if you have some time can you have a look at my log? did a couple of third gear pulls, this is on your a01g map with bpb changes added. i'm seeing knock but iam is at 1? Completely new to this, so any advice would be much appreciated. i have a track day this weekend and i'm not sure if this map is safe or not to run with.

Those bpb changes just add more overall ignition advance, which looks like our fuel does not cope with too well.

was that the v2 ao1g map ?

looks like you will have to pull some timing where its knocking at the load/rpm points probably about 1.5 degrees. or run united 100 octane fuel if you not already doing so .

i dont have bpb but @Wayno does and he has been working on some maps think he is running into same issues see his posts at end of shivs bpb tutorial thread

thanks, yes it was your v2 ao1g map. i will try and make some changes to improve things and look through that bpb thread. In your opinion is this safe to run on track as it is now? i ask not because i'm too lazy to make the adjustments but because i have no knowledge in tuning and will be starting from scratch tonight on learning this stuff. i don't forsee myself being able to make any great strides before this weekend

edit: just realised my LTFT is showing negative??

ltft positive or negitive does not matter its the value thats important if it less than about 5% all good, over 10% its time to scale maf.

no i would not go to track with tune pulling over 2 degrees unless your going to run much better fuel on the day. like Elf 102 race fuel or something.

You can start with these.

Regular:

Intake Runners:

Total pain in the ass. Even the P100 maps are a work in progress.

@steve99 generously did me a conservative quick fix to run the car safely at the track this weekend. i did a log after driving the car for about 60kms or so and it's night and day from before. link:

Honestly, I'm almost at the point of reducing the timing even less than without the intake spacers. Even if I went back to straight 91 map I'd have a shitload of knock at 5000rpm with spacers. And that's on P100.

Finally got rid of the knock with the intake runners, basically the same as P100 map but with less timing at 5000-6000rpm and put the per cylinder compensation back in.

P0420 removed on all maps.
Knock prevention for high intake air temp on all 98RON/P100 maps.
Knock prevention for high coolant temp on all 98RON/P100 maps.
Un-neutered cold starts to wake the dead.
Modified radiator activation temps for idle.
Soft rev limits.

Stg1 98 - Steve's map for 98RON.
Stg1 100 - 91AKI map for United P100.
Stg2 EL 98 - My map for 98RON.
Stg2 EL 100 - OTS 91AKI map for United P100.
Stg2 EL E85 - OTS E85 map for United P85.
Stg2 UEL 98 - My map for 98RON.
Stg2 UEL 100 - OTS 91AKI map for United P100.
Stg2 UEL E85 - OTS E85 map for United P85.

So,finally got intake runner tune dialed in...but wait, there's more.
Here's the difference between street and track.

Street - 0 knock
http://datazap.me/u/wayne/206-stg2-u...og=0&data=1-14

Track - > 2 deg knock
http://datazap.me/u/wayne/206-stg2-u...og=0&data=1-14

E85 is so much simpler

Intake runner maps for our shitty, shitty fuel.

I'd recommend "Stg2 UEL BPB 100 v7 track A01I.bin". You could run 98 on it as long as you switched to P100 for the track.

Only need to copy Base Timing B. They keep the PCC tables unmodified.

You can compare mine to of the shelf 2.0 A01I to find all the modified tables.
