Google Chrome alternative?
I can't stand using Chrome anymore.
I consistently get the "AW SNAP" reload page. I don't know what is the cause but it is so frustrating. Is there a more stable browser? I used Firefox before this but it had an annoying memory "leak". What are my options?

If you don't like FireFox or Chrome... well, that leaves Opera, and ol' faithful IE lol.
I haven't heard of that problem with Chrome though, and I use it exclusively on all my devices. |

Clear your history and browsing data, kill all of your extensions, and check your pop up blocker to make sure nothing is "allowed" to pop up. If this fails, uninstall then re-install.
My GF is click happy and she is constantly clicking ads, downloading and installing things she has no idea what they are. This is a monthly procedure for me.

I have very good experience with Chrome. I have had very few bugs/issues.
I love the fact that I have access to all of my bookmarks no matter where I am or what device I am using. The history feature is also cool. I can see the history of all of my devices in one place. And a cool feature: If you install Chrome on your teenager's computer, log into Google+, then let her have it, you can see (from another device) the history of all of her browsing.....:-) It only works if the teenager does not have their own Google+ account and log you off. |

Few years back I was having issues with Chrome as well, killed all the extensions (yes even AdBlock) and I haven't had any trouble browsing since.
I use Firefox at work and it does the job well, again no extensions. |

FireFox with AdblockPlus and Ghostery.
Don't remember the last time I've seen an Advertisement on a Forum.

Also try turning off the page prediction. It's a feature that tries to load the page you're typing in but there were times where it didn't work properly for everyone.
I'm a desktop technician at a university and work with 30k machines and pretty much every browser out there regularly for credentials. |
