So.... Are you sure they said it was GOING to be 250-280 not that they were hoping it would be about that price? Was it printed on anything...? I talked to them before the bash and was told they were expecting to release around 400-500 dollar range. This sounds like a big miscommunication, not so much a company going against their words.

Nope they said they would be 290 or so for the pair and they were going to be out December like 30th or something or 13th don't recall. We even asked several times because that price sounded too good to be true. Which in the end it turns out it was...

I did even have the guys card name is Dustin Millard. Pretty sure jack Elliot and Kevin were all told the same not sure who else. Believe bill heard the same thing as well.

I still have his card too, I asked to buy the displays because I had a feeling they might notice everyone else was higher.

I was told the price will be around 250-290, it wasn't a guess in terms of they might be I was told that was the price range.

Ok so I'm told some cost went up, but they will have a for sure cost around the 24th of Feb. Dustin said he would take care of us local guys as best he could. So let's just sit and wait @Cross call me.

Ok Dustin did clarify that he said they SHOULD be less then 300 but as the hard adonizing costs went up and they went to a better design the cost may be higher. But he did say that regardless he would take care of us as best he can once he gets a more definitive cost,that looks to be about the 24th. He is being very honest and forthcoming, lets not bash anyone until the dust settles.

That's good to hear. When they were developing them I had been talking to them bad suggested some changes. I also told them current market price and they wanted to make a cheaper one but then they decided to make a way better quality after sema. Almost everyone out is shipping their stuff off to china. Voodoo's factory is actually IN Phoenix. 'Merica. lol
