Format is you start with an adjective-noun pair which is an answer to the previous post. Then you phrase that as "And you know what they say about [adjective-noun]..."as setup for the next post.

Garage
I don't know if I need a truck or I can get by with a garden trailer. I transported 8 12"x16' boards in the truck the other day. I have an extension that goes off the back to support them a few feet past the end of the bed. It worked great. I'm pretty sure that wouldn't have worked on the 8' trailer... the boards would have extended WAY high into the air over the rear ramp, but it might have worked in the Forester if I added the extension bar. Then again, I'm not sure how the Forester would have handled all that weight so far to the rear. The truck just pumped up the air suspension each time I added a board, and the ride was perfectly level.

Now I could rent a truck or get delivery for the rare times I need to do such moving, but that added time and effort of rental and the added expense of delivery would mean that I just wouldn't do the projects.

Won't they fit on the roof rack? Not any longer than a canoe or sea kayak.
