Yo dudes! Myself and James Micael Are planning on doing a small drive the weekend of the 28th. Not sure which day yet and not quite sure where (although most likley around Dublin - San Jose area), and we were wondering if anyone wanted to join along! Probably do it midday and end with grabbing some dinner somewhere. Potentially (if it isnt raining) we could do Mine's Rd. down to SJ, or Sunol through Niles Canyon (it's more chill) down through Fremont. havnt decided yet! But yeah let us know! I'll make a FB event at the end of the week and invite anyone who wants to join. It'll be fun!

I'd be down. Might be going to Laguna Seca on the 28th though. Buddy for mine tracking his FX50! Might just track mine to see what it and I can do.

Dude thats awesome! So far it might be looking more like afternoon/evening ish on the 29th. Nothing crazy just a casual drive maybe down to SJ through some calm backroads and then grabbing some dinner.

BTW after the car meet the other day i saw your tailights in the dark and my girlfriend had to smack me to stop me squealing over how cool they look especially on a black 86.

This one starts a bit late probably so I won't be joining woth the increased likelyhood of traffic. Plus I don't feel like seeing what Mines is like after all this rain lol

I mean this in the nicest way possible, but please be extremely careful on Mines Rd if you are really running those crappy 600 treadwear tires listed in your sig with an Edelbrock SC.

Appreciate the heads up. We probably wont do Mines as its raining this weekend and my FiST/FoST group just did a run on sunday and said it was pretty bad.

And yeah i need new tires lol. I just ordered some new wheels and i'm getting some Dunlop Rezzas on those.

Hey Guys, So as for the run i am planning. I'm thinking we should do it evening of the 29th. I'm open to times but maybe around 5-6PM we start. I've mapped out a route (poorly) and I've never driven it myself but it looked cool.
Route Starts in Castro Valley on Palomares Rd. We then take that down to Sunol and make our way to Calaveras. Take that down to Past the national Park into Milpitas.
I was thinking afterward we could hit up Gen Korean BBQ for all you can eat food for dinner.
Thoughts?

Palomares is not in any condition for a joy ride. None of the back roads are, is my guess. Unless you like mudslides and stone chips.
