Starting issue?

I tried starting my car today and it didn't turn over. Only after 4 tries did I get my car to start. I had no previous issues with the car, no crickets or cels. Is this normal? I'm at 28000 miles

Depends on your definition of "normal."

Seriously, I'd be suspicious of the clutch interlock before the starter.

Next time it happens leave the key in crank mode and play with pushing and letting go of the clutch. Does it do anything?

hmmm......I don't think that's "normal".

I'd suggest you start by checking the battery cable connections ..... clean them and make sure they are tight.

If that doesn't "fix" it ...... I'd suggest you use a meter and check the voltage of your car's battery.

The next step I'd suggest is take it to a auto shop and have the battery "load tested".

Automobile batteries don't last forever ....

I just took the car out and it started with no problems. I'll try the clutch play if it comes up again. I could be the battery. I realized that the tray under the battery has been collecting some water for some reason. It's since dried but that could be the problem. Just hoping no major issues result from this after my warranty expires.

It happens, give it a moment when you first turn the key right before you turn it to start the engine, this gives the fuel pump a chance to pressurize the fuel lines. Other than that just seems to be an oddball thing these cars do.

OP's car started on the 4th try, without a video I can't tell you if 4 tries in 10 seconds or 4 tries over half an hour. In any case, difficulty starting followed by no other symptoms is not unusual in these cars as outlined in the several threads I linked.

It's funny, I read the second thread you linked and someone posted something like "It turned over but it wouldn't crank..."

I give people too much credit.
