255/35/18 definitely a safe choice for sure.

figured I would share mine as these threads are a huge help
18x9.5 +38 235/40/18 all around just lowered on sportline springs (1.2-4" drop) about 3-4mm clearance on the inside of the front wheel between spring and wheel but no rubbing front or back at all. |

My Eibach Sportline springs are arriving very soon and I have already installed Rota Grid 18x9.5 ET38 on 235/40/18 all around I will post pictures when done. It's hard to find people who tried this setup without coilovers, only wheeldudes (that has put KW after so we don't know if there was any issue without) and 1 other guy on this forum. You are the 3rd I see doing it. I will post my picture and experience too when I will have it installed, so it will be found when you google it. Thank you for your post. It's very useful. |

Buying used wheels- will this work?
Hi guys
Im looking at buying some second hand wheels with rubber included, before I get them I just want to know if they will fit. So they are: Enkei Rpf1 18x9.5 +38 on all fours. Fronts 235/35/18 Rears 255/35/18 I only have stock suspension, but i plan to get Eibach Sportline springs to drop the height a bit. Ive seen on the forums some cars with similar setup sit pretty nicely but the rubber is different. What do you guys think? Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk |

I had Swift springs on stock struts with similar specs 18x 9.5 +38.
It will work without rubbing the front perch. I'm assuming you were talking 0 cambers. Now, are you comfortable with poke and 5-7mm clearance from the perch? If you want something that aggressive, I suggest you to get coils and a set of camber bolts for your front poke if you don't have any camber plates. |

That drop with 0deg front camber, running 9.5" +38 offset wheels is going to have approximately 10mm of poke, wheel sticking out. To tuck that in, you'll need almost -3deg camber up front for a flush fit, which would require camber top plate coilovers. |
