Anyone with a built motor using a GTX3071R?

Just curious on owners opinions and results with this turbo

I am... But your post is lacking any details to construct a proper answer.

Your built motor and my built motor are going to be different... And Yield different results. Maybe you should ask your tuner for a recommendation of a turbo to match the power goals you want?

Im just curious if anyone is running this instead of the GTx3076r. To me that turbo is too laggy and i just wanted to know what those running the GTX3071r think of it.

I've got a GTX3067r and the response is like a supercharger. But thats due to a well designed setup and about 30cm from the turbo to the intake. I'd be more interested in manifold and intercooler setup.

I have no lag at all with a non build motor. I am up in the air with CR I'm going to use on my build. I used 9.5:1 on my turbo Busa and it's like a 600cc bike before boost and then snap.... to 16psi on 93 and it's nasty when on boost. I'm personally not sure if I want that. I may do rods, springs, retainers and find a good high CR piston and just run e85.

We did a 3076 gtx last month. If you build it to rev high it's an awesome ride. GTX3071r should do close to the same as the dyno below but about 200 rpm earlier spool, though the 3076 still has some reserve.
