best bike rack ever!
Totally held up for 40 miles of driving over driveways, freeways, and one faster than commuter speed right turn. I was more worried about breaking the glass than I was about losing the bike. The SeaSucker is an awesome investment, and one that I should also be able to use on other cars in the future, so slick! Disclaimer: Bicycle pictured under 16lbs in weight. |

Sorry, but that's been covered in another thread that escapes me right now. I wouldn't say it's the best bike rack ever. Coolest? Maybe.

That's how I found the rack, but rather than necropost something from over a year ago I thought everyone might appreciate another post with fresh pics, and a new endorsement.
What's best about it is that it will transfer to my other car just fine, base price makes it less expensive than a Thule rack, and it doesn't add any weight to the car compared to a hitch. It's entirely full of win. |

From the pictures, it looks awfully specialized for a bike but do they offer attachments or a version for transporting a snowboard or skis? I'm looking for something for next winter and I'd rather not put it in the trunk.

I have a 26" mountain bike and it WILL fit in the trunk without any issues. Only had to take off the front wheel. Taking off the back wheel and seat makes it even easier.

I figured it would probably fit if I took off both wheels, but this was a good excuse to have a bike rack that would also fit on my MR2.

That's the response I was expecting! :-) It left a little circle of dust, but after gently wiping that off it was all clear. I'd definitely recommend cleaning the surface before and after you use it, besides it's practically a requirement for the before mounting so that the vacuum will hold.
