Ultimate Racing Overpipe & Downpipe

New Parts are in from Ultimate Racing, i thought i should share these with you guys.
Used the products from them on my Evo X so decided to use them again on the 86.

Quality of Product is as good as any and priced bloody awesomely for both the over and front pipe

Please update us once you get it installed, very interested in purchasing this. Also what cat back are you running with it? Want to run these with a 3" Ptuning single exit.

Looks gorgeous, but am worried about the sheer amount of welds.

Apparently they couldn't get ahold of any mandrel bends that didn't have a radius of 0.

I am thinking about placing an order with this setup. Was wondering how do you like them? Now that you are using it, how is the build quality, sound and fitment?

I am having trouble between this product and a Nameless over/front pipe combo.

Hope you don't mind me asking you for a short little review haha..

My Nameless 2.5" front pipe still necks down to 2.25 where the doughnut gasket is, has hit on the cross-member since day 1, and has a nice bit of pipe protrusion into the flow at the header / manifold flange... Just saying, nameless is good but not without some issues.

Ultimate has been around for a while. I ran their turbo back on my evo 8, their 02 dump downpipe and full exhaust on my evo 10, and the 02 downpipe and resonated front pipe on my ralliart sportback.

They do tend to cut and weld a lot over doing cnc bends, but look at most of the titanium setups out there... they pie-cut everything.

I might switch over to this setup in the near future with an Evo3 catback or similar.

I noticed there is a lot of cuts and welds in this system too... I actually have a Greddy EVO3 catback coming in the mail pretty soon, thats why I was considering this product.

...But I am also getting a OpenFlash Header too which has a 2.5" collector, in which case i was considering the Nameless over/front pipe combo

I will in fact be staying NA for the next year or so, and may go supercharged. So I am not really sure which one to go with.

i got this combo installed last week and got my ECUTek tune touched up on saturday by VitViper of VitTuned. This is on a dyna pack that reads considerably lower numbers than dyno jets in my experience. the relative gains is what matters anyways.

Here are the gains going from the nameless single piece catted 2.5 inch pipe to the ultimate racing catless but resonated 2.75 inch combo.

very pleased with the results. Car runs way smoother and MPG has gone up too by 2MPG in city and 4MPG on the highway. Cruising at 75 in sixth the car gets 35mpg now!

icing on the cake, sounds better and a tad quieter too which is great! no drone whatsoever with this setup.

recommended heartily.

car current setup is now:
Skunk2 intake
Skunk2 header
Ultimate racing 2.75 overpipe
Ultimate racing 2.75 resonated catless front pipe
Perrin resonated 2.5 catback

sorry to revive this, but..

Does anyone have any pictures of this setup installed from underneath? specifically the overpipe coming over the subframe/sway bar area.

Thanks!
