Change that to 90% 80's-00's and 10% wtf and you got my Spotify lol.

You know who was surprisingly good when I saw them live? Jimmy eat world. I was meh when i saw they were playing at BFD but was blown away when they started playing.

That's cool. I'be always liked Jimmy Eat World. That reminds me of seeing Neon Tree's opening for a show in San Jose. You hear them on the radio and think they're a pop band but live they were very much a rock band. Was pretty cool.

I haven't been to that many live concerts in my life but I had the privilege of seeing James Brown perform live many years ago. Uhh! Good God! (RIP J.B.)

Alas, it looks like I'm only going to be in NorCal for another month and a half or so as my company decided to close the SF office. They let everyone go, but my husband surprised me by telling me to ask if relocation was an option. Long story short, my company extended an offer to relocate me to Chicago. Considering my husband's job is currently unstable, and they are not reducing my pay (thus netting me a 30% raise, effectively), we couldn't pass it up.

Sad to hear, but you gotta do what's best for ya. Wife and I are going through something similar, albeit not as drastic (moving from the bay to sac). I'm having to take a severe pay cut by doing consulting full time instead while the wife gets to simply transfer from the Oakland office to the Sac office, while still charging the same rates, effectively making her the breadwinner of the family (nothing wrong with that apart from my damaged man-ego).

I'm not exactly happy with having to go, but one of us out of work makes it hard to pay bills. The possibility of both of us out of work well... that's impossible and we'd certainly end up homeless pretty quickly.

I've moved across country for crazier reasons than a stable, well-paying job!

Does any body want my Blackhawk museum tickets? I got them from going to C&C a few weeks ago. Don't think I'll be going any time soon...
