Question about GIANT Scion logo

Can I just heat gun this decal clean off? Will it just be my Raven color underneath? COMPLETELY forgot about it when i swapped my badges haha WHOOPS!

Um...pretty sure that's just a decal. I wouldn't use a heat gun - you'll end up melting your bumper. Just get a solvent like "goo gone"...I think they make a special one just for decals. That will soften the glue, then just use your fingernail (or something else that doesn't have a sharp edge) to lift up the decal. Then, just pull them off slowly. If they start to stick, just shoot some more solvent under there and let it soak for 5 minutes. Shouldn't take long at all...once all the decal is gone, go over the area again with the solvent to remove any extra adhesive.

Use a hairdryer. I used it several times to get decals off, works like a charm.

No discoloration. Just warm it up, its held on by industrial sticky stuff. You can use dental floss and work it back and forth under the logo to cut through the gunk. Then use goo-gone to clean up the remaining junk.

If the paint is faded by the sun, then yes there will be. But if the car is still new, you won't be able to notice it. It's an issue some people have when they debadge their cars.

And with goo-gone, it's a good product, but try to use as little as possible and just keep applying it. I hear it can be bad for the paint if you overdo it.

Ty but I'm gonna try and use a non invasive blow dryer at first. And then work my way up to more intensive methods.

Man, I'm glad my dealer did not apply that damn thing to my car. No Scion logo here on my trunk other than the badge of course. :-)

I didn't use a heat gun or a blow dryer at all to remove mine. I just pulled it off in the parking lot of the dealership (along with their stick on logo) after I finished all the paperwork.

Dealer doesn't put them on. It's a "Port installed option". If you order a car that hasn't hit our ports yet you can request to receive your car without the rear bumper applique and clear film on the front of the hood.

Make sure you get that request in documented writing.
