Awesome, this site has already answered a ton of questions I have about the car, like why it sounds like crickets under the hood or what that ticking sound is coming from in the back of my car which is driving me bananas.
I have been on forums before. This one has a LOT of content and a crazy amount of daily traffic. Nice work to whoever set it up. And also, good call on the "You've been spotted" cards. That's a great way to advertise and invite to the community. Very nice touch. So a big thank you to Bignrichlll for that. Sorry my car was dirty. I usually detail it every Friday. To end this I went on a trip from Bagdad, AZ up to Jerome then to Sedona yesterday. I saw that there may be a group who does trips? I'd like to get on that as I already take these on my time off. |

My days off are Tuesday - Friday. I pull 39 hours in 3 days (sat - Monday) and though most are busy during week, I am down to cruise when I can. What noise are you hearing out of the back of your car? I've not noticed anything but my first aid kid sluffin about the trunk. EDIT:: HOLY CRAP! http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...e+back+vehicle answered my questions as to what could be heard. I'm at 12,000 miles on the car and I drove my car to lunch with the stereo off. The sound I was hearing is actually the emergency trunk release. haha Quote:
HAVE FUN GUYS!!! Look forward to seeing pics when they are available. |

I have similar hours. I work Sunday - Tuesday and also make my 40 hours in 3 Days.
The noise! See sometimes you just have to know what you're listening for I bought mine in October. I now have almost 30,000 on the dash from taking trips. My goal is to complete every back road, that's paved, in AZ. |

I divide my miles driven by gallons to top off at refuel. I got over 30mpg average on my last 5K trip. That includes up mountains through Colorado.
Anyhow, I have a lot covered as far as where I've been, but I don't mind hitting the same place more than once. And I keep a large wall map that I highlight as what's a good road or just eh, so-so of a road. I've done this for over 10 years now. This includes a lot of California, North Carolina, Louisiana and a few roads in other states. I bought this car for this main reason. |

I did CA all through San Diego and Orange County. I used to LOVE LOVE LOVE the travel from S7 / S8 up past the wild animal park, through S2 (Borrego Springs casino area) and up to the palomar observatory.
I've not really done it since being in AZ, but when I do go drive, I take 60E to Power rd N/B and drive that up past seguaro lake until it reaches back to hwy 87. Then hop 202W/B to dobson and travel back toward home. --> I need to explore those roads more. I've not really done that yet come to think about it. |

I know all of Southern Cali like no body's business. Borrego (which seriously needs repaved), the S2, the 78 and all its local roads...I take them monthly. I will be leaving wednesday for California cutting through Julian and staying in Ramona, not far from Palomar Mountain. which is one of my favorites to drive.
For about 3 years I took the Pacific Coast Highway up and did every cross road to the 101 through Northern Cali. each weekend I would tackle a new area, making it a weekend trip seeing the local life. I know how to rack up miles So if you guys are ever down, seriously, this is my passion. It's good to meet people with a similar interest such as this. My goal is to knock out each road from east of I-17 from the I-40 to the I-10. showlow, payson, globe, the 191 apache national, all the way to tuscon. this will take a few trips. |

The more the better. Not sure if any of your companions like this sort of thing. It's always nice having a riding buddy.
In August I will be driving cross country again to hit the Dragon's Tail in North Carolina since I will be going to a family reunion out that way. I did it years ago and would love to do it again in this. Back then it was in an MR-2. If you haven't been on that one it's worth the drive! It's got a lot of hype and the locals make a lot off of T-shirts and just cool stuff in regards to it. it's a great drive. |

Anybody know if the dealer will warranty your tai lights for the condensation problem? Or do I have to fix it myself?
