400hp on pump gas
[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQYd4abTsq4"]Subaru BRZ Turbo 412hp Dyno - YouTube[/ame] I was making 366hp/278tq at 16psi prior using a manual boost controller. I felt like I was getting some inconsistent boost sometimes, so I switched to a COBB 3 port electric boost solenoid. This allows for the ECU to control the boost, and in turn allowing for different levels of boost on different maps. The boost also builds a little quicker now. Currently, Map 1: ~7psi, 267hp / 204tq Map 2: ~21psi, 412hp / 308tq Garrett T3/T4 .60 trim UEL manifold 2.5" exhaust It starts building boost around 3-3.5k. It hits 10psi by 4k, 20psi by 5k. R/T Tuning (vendor here) in PA has done all the tuning and worked out a lot of the hiccups associated with this setup. I can't say enough good things about these guys. They kick ass. The weather isn't letting me really drive it hard since the pavement is so cold. I made a couple pulls in 5th gear (where I had some traction) and to say it is fast would be an understatement.. I am building a shortblock this summer so that I can run more boost more safely. Hopefully some well tested cams will be out by then so I can play with them as well. Obviously this is pushing it with these motors. (21psi, pump gas, 400hp, stock internals...)

Sweet, I don't have e85 here so it's great to see someone else staying on pump! What compression are you going with on the built block?

My "goal" is to have a powerband of somewhere in the range of 5-8k rpm and hit at least 500hp on pump gas. Obviously lots of changes will be happening to her for that to happen.

How long will the block last with 21psi on 98(RON) 93(AKI)?

The direct infection helps with keeping things cool inside. No knock at 21psi at 12.5:1 is pretty good I think. As far as how the stock cast pistons hold up...

You know, JE makes 13.5:1 pistons in any size you need. No need to lower the compression. If anything you can slap those suckers in, dial down boost, and still make more power.
