Oh, I never run out of stories - however, I do sometimes run low on stories I can tell on the internet -

I doubt they know we exist. It is like all the good old boys that were so excited for the 2.5RS and first WRX to come are long gone, and everyone on that forum is under 18.

That is certainly true, but NASIOC has so much knowledge on it from days long ago you'd think there would be some intelligence. So much was done that is still good info for anyone modding cars.

theres a huge wealth of knowledge at Nasioc especially for the GM/GD body styles adn the 1-3rd gen foresters.

But yeah as i was rolling out of it. it was becoming Ziliva with guys asking dumb questions. telling cheap parts for inflated prices for the hype and its just sorta. .. distainful

I ask every 86 owner if they heard of this forum and i get quizzical looks. its like forums are no longer a thing

I thought they where the bees knees back in the early 00s when you could ask a car specific question and someone somewhere either heard of that issue or had an answer

I just thought of something. Facebook is more than half as old as the World Wide Web...

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Wide_Web

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hist...Chris%20Hughes.

Also, I am older than the public release of WWW, aka the modern internet. Just barely... It's going to be a fun thing to say if I get to humfrz age.

Then, Spuds, you can tell really back-in-the-day stories -

Yep, just like I can say that I'm older than when televisions were common place in homes.

telling people about 2400 baud modems, hunting for phone numbers for the latest bbs's, and downloading all day to get a picture or two is already something we can talk about.

And we now can make fun of people for being young by taunting them with our email addresses are older than they are.

It's the age groups that are now getting into cars. Most people around my age and younger tend to gravitate towards Facebook and have no idea other parts of the internet exist.

I've begun to start keeping more to myself with people I meet unless it's at a track. Meets and stuff like that house the worst people to talk to about cars as they are just there to show off their cars they barely know anything about.

I had a fool once try and tell me his SUV was a damn sportscar. HE IS TWO YEARS YOUNGER THAN ME.

Did you know? There's a forum rule against telling people to...

Yes, there's a forum rule, but there's also a hand, dandy smiley to illustrate it. I'm so confused.

forums are no longer a thing. look at the age group here. i'm 32, and one of the younger consisten participants. get below me in age, and most use facebook to ask a question, get an answer, and disappear into the ether.

that's a really long t-shirt to read. i'm also confused why you're making your granddaughters threaten random people on the street?
