I need to download the license for poweramp full version, and i cant get google play working. This is strange because a week or 2 ago, i downloaded quite a few apps from there with no problems on my home wifi.

Also if anyone knows why my music in the stock music player app is always in reverse order...that would be cool to figure out also
If @Narcoden's solution doesn't work you should also try plugging your wifi dongle directly into the USB cable rather than into a hub.

One hub I had kept dropping the signal and some apps were more forgiving about the break in signal than google play.

thanks @Narcoden and @nzer for the suggestions, i will try them in the morning.

After that, the only thing i can really hope for with this unit from now is for some of the developers to make better stock apps for the radio functions. Hopefully that isnt too far off

Microphone

Awesome information on this thread!!!
@2forme and all of you other guys - thanks for being innovators and doing this first...

I'm about to pull the trigger on the T7019A and have the following questions:
Does the FR-S standard microphone work with the T7019A? Is it plug and play, or will it require splicing into the wiring harness?

Thanks in advance!!

Google announce a bunch of updates to Google Music yesterday at Google I/O and updated the Google music app.

Use caution when updating to the new app. It's got a bunch of force close errors on my android radio. I had to freeze the app so it doesn't run (Titanium Backup)... Hopefully Google will fix/update it soon. Works fine on my phone though.

The T7019A has a built in Bluetooth mic on the head unit. It is on the left just below the volume knob so on the correct side for a LHD vehicle. For a RHD vehicle it is a bit further from the driver.

Unfortunately I can't see anywhere to wire an external mic. It may need to be soldered into the unit (beyond me).

I haven't checked all of the wires coming out the back yet but doesn't look promising.

The wiring is plug and play.

Everything you need is in the pack except
1. Antenna adapter http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/111046104...84.m1497.l2649

2. Compatible Bluetooth dongle to get torque working http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/USB-V-4-0...c023aef&_uhb=1

3. ELM327 to plug into the OBD2 http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Super-Min...1e4efd4&_uhb=1

All pretty cheap. Links are to ebay Oz but you can get from international eBay or dx.cm too.

Actual unit fits with the OEM mounts off the OEM head unit and the OEM dash bezel. Unbolt the original, transfer the mounts from OEM unit to bew oe n bolt bak in using the OEM mount points. One plug to plug into backed the antenna adapter and that's it.

If you don't want to use torque then all you need is item 1

Thanks for the help Nzer!! I evaluate your solution the better one for replacing stock unit that we have in Italian version (very poor). :happy0180::happy0180:

And now.... after half a day of effort! I would like to thank all my brothers here!!:happy0180: Without which all this will not be a reality..I feel like crying....

Radio is still stuffed up, maybe I didnt connect properly...

Some feedback for folks who are considering my approach (Tun21a + beatsonic kit)... the dash trim piece fits in with great difficulty over the unit. But at last it still does fit snugly.

After installing this, I can say with full confidence... replacing leds is waaaay beyond my pay level...! Blue leds it is...blue it will be
