Uh oh... There's an empty formerly Sears parking lot... But it's the middle of the day... Someone talk me out of it.

nuclear isn't very good because the only real way to power it is to steal power from either iranian terrorists, or that smarmy teenager and his delorean.

electric is pricey. electric is more of a 'fringe' type thing currently. too expensive, but decent power. the only advantage is for people that already have batteries for that specific brand (dewalt for instance), so the mower just increases the usage of existing batteries. but dedicated batteries to the purpose is a waste. for instance, i have a milwaukee trimmer and blower. i only have the milwaukee variants of these things because i already use milwaukee tools.

tires dry rot from the outside in. scrubbing the rubber off from time to time keeps the tires from going bad!

first, they drew pictures on rocks. after rocks, came rolls of film-- where they would mix magic into the film, expose it to dragons breath, and it would save that image. like a smartphone, but it took forever, and dragons got quite rare after the whole medieval crusades ordeals to capture their skittles farms.

Work's kicking my ass. Half a year of no jobs and minimal hours and boom, we got work back flowed for months. It's all good but, many after nearly 7 months of being dead socially and living off credit... it is taking a lot to get life back on track. I haven't even went into the garage or taken my twins out for a drive other than making sure the batteries weren't kaput.

It's looking up though, Sadly, I feel I'll pretty much be missing all of the 'car season' this year...

We're still here. Positive cash flow beats the hell out of bicycling to car meets. Congrats.

What kind of business are you in?

Well, I hope your work load levels out so you can get your life back on an even keel.

Kind reminds me of my real estate brokerage business a few years back. Normally, between thanksgiving and X-mass, business was really slow. So, this one year, my partner and I decided to just about take a month off. Then, all hell broke lose, it seemed that EVERYONE either wanted to sell or buy a house during that time that year -

Positive yes, but it will be quite some time until the damage already done is undone. However, not being kept up all night with stress helps. Liquidating things and psessions has also had a positive effect. Less baggage I suppose.

Recreational specialty vehicle repair. Winters are always slow but, we have had severe flooding all year so far. When that happens, no one is bringing their toys in, regardless if they are damaged or not.

Not to sound like an ass, but had you considered relocating? I guess if the lull is just temporary it might be a bit overkill to move, but if I was out of work for months I'd go find work elsewhere. I imagine temp work wasn't going to cut it for some reason.

Is it your business or you part owner in the business? If so, you may wish to diversify into maybe snowmobiles, chainsaws, boat motors or other areas.

If you are an employee, you may consider a backup part time job.

Oh hell yeah. That kind of stress is cancer. Glad to hear you're getting solid work.
