This is what happen when you own a car and aren't mechanically inclined / wrenching as a hobby. I'll never get tired of working on things. You're in the wrong hobby. I spend countless hours working on my vehicles and motorcycle, I enjoy every minute of it.

Fixed.

This thread is awesome. Definitely my favorite. So much hilarity.

Dez, put it back to stock or sell it. As for the C7, it's one of the few cars that looks dramatically better in pictures. I saw one in person and gagged. Get a C5 Z06 and call it a day.

Not jealous. Or is that "jelly"? But for someone who can buy a 25K car and then toss in another 10 or more K for shits and giggles really has no leg to stand on when it comes to bitching.

OP needs some real-life problems money can't fix.

15 grand into a car is no "small investment."
Just sounds like you should have bought a higher HP car from the start. Turbo kits and all that entails isn't cheap, and doesn't have amazing reliability. You had to have known this from the start, and if you didn't...Well,that would be kind of depressing.

Sounds like a HUGE first world problem.

I don't like how others are reacting to this topic.

This is a discussion forum, where we discuss the twins, parts and other parallels involving the twins.

He shows a point, that you gotta pay to play and that modifying a car is no simple task.
An idea that many have to learn on this forum, there are many noobs to the modifying world on this forum.

This topic is no different then a twin owner posting he was in accident, no one goes saying "first world problems" then, do they?

OP has given his own time and writing abilities to show the life of an FRS owner, modifying and dealing with the difficulties this car has from factory and an aftermarket point.

Don't beleive it? Just look...

Yes, me or you posting that we were in an accident, give no real benefit to the forum as a whole.
Just like a topic of me or you complaining about your new BBS wheels you just bought and how you already gave them curb rash.

Que?

An accident is, well, an accident. Curb rash is more than likely an accident. How is spending 10K on mods and bitching about it an accident?

I learned a lot following the development of your car. This is the sobering truth of modifying, you spend more time fixing than driving. I will be focusing more on driver mods, the fun part.

The comparison of personal topics?
How they place no real value on this forum because they don't contribute to anything?
And how saying he is complaining when he simply showing others the cost of modifying?

Did you not read? You didn't read.

Stock, it's a seriously capable car. You have to spend a lot more money to get a better car. When you are a better driver than it is a car, spend money. A whole lot of people skip that part spending money for a "better" car , and they still suck. But they don't know it, which is the funny part.

Or you can just NOT boost your car and not experience 90% of the problems people introduce by doing that. Bolt ons and a damn good tune brings this car to life. Especially since it's my DD, I don't think slapping a 500 whp turbo on it is the best idea.
