Loving the New BRZ!

Hi Guys!

Just a quick post to introduce myself. I picked up my new BRZ a couple weeks ago and am really enjoying this car! I live in the SF Bay Area - perfect for sporty driving - this photo was taken on my morning commute! Sonoma Raceway is close by, so I'm planning on using the PP features the track. I'm a motorcycle guy at heart, but this little beauty is a real kick and my wife will be much more willing to come along for the ride.

Here's my list of planned mods:

1. Carsmo armrest - ordered

2. Cheap connectors to fill the holes in the rear wheel well - done for $2.73

3. CQuartz ceramic coating - Immaculate Reflections in Brentwood

No coilovers, no catback, no turbo, no CWP steering wheel.... I'm loving the stock car, but enjoying watching you guys mod the hell out of your cars.

Drive (kinda) safe, y'all!

CJ

Welcome, nice ride! Funny, the 2017 already looks modded with those wheels and brembo brakes

Congrats! I'd change those orange sidemarkers to clear ones.

Great taste

When my white BRZ PP arrives, we'll have to form an El Cerrito pack!

He probably found a way to fill in those shipping tie down holes by the rear wheel wells / sides of the rear bumper.

I thought those were meant for the OEM mud guards?

They are.

They would make horrible tie downs.

I think you are right.

The first week owning this car I thought some Nifco plugs fell off there lol!

That's funny you mention the plugs. I did a PPI and the mechanic said that the plugs were missing too; I guess it is supposed to be that way!

Here's my rear wheel well hole blanking mod. Installation went smoothly, had to bend over as I don't have access to a lift. Took about 15 minutes including trip to OReilly's and struggling somewhat with resistant plastic packaging.

I thought about that, but I don't mind the stock color. They are cheap enough, I'll probable just pick up a set and see how they look.
