True, but I think its a different kind of rotation. Stock, the rotation is mostly on set-up and turn-in, very little modulation. With an SC, you can "dial it in" mid-corner, fixing any understeer on corner exit.

Exactly. A lot of people focus on the peak power, but one of the joys of the SC is the entire rpm range produces more power so you don't constantly have to flog the motor to bring out the smiles. According to the dyno graphs, all the power you used to have to wring out 7krpm to get is now served up by ~4,750!

I have 265's in the rear and it's still pretty easy to break those loose.

I'm not really a big fan of TJ Hunt, but there are limited reviews on this SC so you have to make due with what you got. I am kind of jealous though. actually pretty jelly. pinching pennies right now lol,

Lol, I'm with you on that. I hate myself every time I watch this kids videos because I know that one click just gave him another $ to buy stupid crap. I can't help but think to myself "here I am, an engineer with a masters degree and a decent job, just barely able to afford this kit while paying my mortgage and supporting my family. Life sure has a sense of humor."
Keep on pinching them pennies!

I'm curious to hear what the issue was with the cams, because mine also had the cams flat line at least once, and I suspect my power is sometimes at a lower level than others (but not due to the Advance Multiplier value, which is stable now). He had to buy another ECU to fix it??? that would suck, but at least it can be fixed maybe? I'd do my full review with dyno's, 1/4mi, etc. but I'm kind of in limbo trying to determine if it's even running right or not before throwing down another $100 to dyno. Now I'm wondering if I should just skip dyno'ing the CARB tune and try the DT... which would you guys rather see, CARB final or DT final on the dyno?

Because we all have day jobs and don't live out of our parent's house...

You have no idea how pissed I was to find out he ended up with this kit, I can't help but feel slightly embarrassed. I just tell myself at least folks like Michele Abbate are actually out there trashing this kit on the track.

He actually replied to one comment on his Edelbrock videos with "J-O-B," but not everyone bought it.

I always thought he made a deal with Edelbrock for views in exchange for coverage/publicity of the kit, or at least a hefty discount.
