Hot tip right there. Thanks. My main beef with any lithium ion tools has been the inability to rebuild the battery modules. I haven't been able to bring myself to justify another cordless drill. Went back to my trusty thirty five year old Craftsman.

Why? Because shoveling snow is a major cause of heart attacks for retired men. Plus, it would give you something to do during snow days. Plus, you could plow off some of your neighbors driveways - maybe meet a lonely housewife -

I welcome a heart attack. Life isn't as fun as they advertised. They didn't tell me that Obama care would be 3 times more than my half million dollar San Jose mortgage. Should have just worked in San Jose till I die.

I believe you have to buy them through Home Depot to get that warranty. Also, it doesn't apply to batteries purchased separately as I recall, it has to be one that came with a tool.

I have a few old Craftsman as well. My powered circular saw, bandsaw, and tablesaw, and half inch drill are at least 35 years old, all Craftsman.

If that's the primary point if confusion this morning, you should look up "perenium tanning".

And IDK, something about increasing pressure makes you sleep better?

If you hunt around on ebay you can buy knock off cells. I don't know about the quality though. Sometimes you get lucky and some name brand ones show up that are used. Then it is just some kapton tape and some soldering.

Just hook up the ground wire to the positive terminal and then you recycle the energy and don't lose most of it. ; )

Their 12V impacting ratchet is awesome for working on cars. I have the 3/8 drive which will do around 55ftlbs. Way easier then dealing with an air ratchet and hose. When I was doing field work the cordless soldering iron has got me out of some jams that would have required taking the assembly apart and fixing it in the shop.

I figure it's making you feel like you're back in the womb -

mrs humfrz has one, she says it helps her sleep better. I asked her how, she replied "I wrap it around my head so I can't hear you snore"
