Is this event dead. . . . or will it be resurrected?

I think this year it's dead because of the weather. Sort of like when video killed the radio star. Next year obviously it will need to be in the middle of the summer. I think I may organize a monthly meet or even biweekly if we have enough interest once November hits.

As an alternative. Should we man up and drive up to drift office from Portland to an 86 night?

I'm gonna take the privlage and revive this event. Since summer is right around the corner. I'm going to step up and see if I can come up with a couple of ideas/meeting location.

I vote early August since that's when the first mega meet took place. Also, some people may have a huge 4th of July thing going on (since it's on a Friday this year) and might not be able to free up another weekend in the same month.

Best chance of good weather in August so I say somewhere around then. I have a few free prize goodies like an STI hoodie, a one night stay at a hotel near the PDX airport, and other goodies.

Once we get details I will contact manufacturers and distributers to see about advertising/ sponsoring our giveaways and prizes.

Ha... I kinda dropped the ball on this. Alright back into it. I'll start planning again. What is the middle point for everybody? Furthest in washington and furthest in Oregon. I was thinking of meeting at the coast.

i think centralia/chehalis is the closest "middle" between seattle and portland. however, that was already done the first time around, so maybe we can push it one way or another this time around.

since the Seattle/Tacoma group is coming down for the Perrin meets it may be considerate to host it closer to them

That isn't our fault! But the we would most likely be meeting inside Washington correct?

Also as for last years event. Was it an all day thing or just half a day thing?
