Keep Auto Transmission or Switch to Manual

I am currently debating..whether I should switch it, because If I do, it would cost me quite a lot of money to trade in the Auto FR-S and get a brand new manual Subaru BRZ. So yeah...what is your guys opinion?

The very fact that you say "cost me quite a lot" gives me the impression that it would be a bad financial decision for you.

Lol "your guys opinion" I am just referring to the general everyone who could help me make my decision. Financial wise is okay, but I just want to see if it is a good choice or not.

Let's just say that I was too impatient to get a manual at the moment and bought the auto without thinking I might regret it later on...

I would honestly just hang on to it until they refresh the line. Might get a better bang for back

Is having a clutch pedal worth losing "quite a lot of money"? If you can answer "Yes" to that question without hesitation, then I'd say you should trade it in to buy a manual.

Otherwise, I'd just keep the auto. You can still shift through the gears with the auto by using M mode, you just don't have to press a pedal to do so.

Go for it.. If it will make you enjoy the car more..
It's only money.. Just go out and make some more... No harm done..
If it will make you appreciate the car better and enjoy it more, then I say go for it.

^ This guy

While true, it is only money, still probably not the best financial decision. Just my $0.02.

Why don't you just put that money into making your auto better. There's drive shaft upgrades, trans upgrades and so on. And don't forget tuning ect. Keep the auto.

Better won't make it a manual or give you the same interaction with the car..

Find someone to trade cars with. There has to be someone that's sick of shifting through 4 hours of traffic a day in socal.

What don't you like about the auto? I have an MT and while I wouldn't trade for an auto, I'm not really enamored with it like some of this people that love to proclaim "SPORTS CAR NEED MT #!@%&%@"

I wouldn't have mind an auto but I have plans for FI at some point and also didn't want to spend the extra on it.

Unless you really hate it for some reason, I would keep it and
