Hey! Is the shift knob thread 12x1.25? I thought I read that here somewhere.

I just ordered a set of billiard balls and will be making myself a 7 ball shift knob. It was better to buy a whole set of balls rather than individual, so I will order extra threaded inserts and can sell off the rest of the set. These will accommodate the reverse lockout and the insert will be epoxied in when installed (by you) to ensure proper facing of the number on your shifter.

Any interest?

Cars and Coffee

ALL,
I try and attend this event as their are some really nice cars out there. Found a Veyron there, an MP4-12C, and some other nice stuff. Besides Brent I haven't seen anyone other FR-S/BR-Zs out there and it might be nice for us, ARIZ86NA club, to have a showing and maybe build some relations. Philnathropy has many faces and ways of propagating. I know part of lasts nights discussion involved some fundrasing talk...
This event is going to be a fundraiser for a fallen officer so it's going to be a big one...I have seen as many as 75 Ferraris out there. If you do decide to go, no pressure, never is with me, get there EARLY! I am up at 0400 no matter what day of the week so I will be there by 0600 to get a good spot. Once the heat comes on people tend to leave which is around 0900, though they could stay later. Every month is different.
From the Scottsdale Cars and Coffee Facebook page: "Friends next months Scottsdale Motorsports Gathering/ Scottsdale Cars & Coffee theme will be a fund raiser for Officer Brandon Mendoza who was killed earlier this week. We will be asking for donations no matter how small or large they may b...e. Also planning on auctioning off a the prime parking spot in the front row at our gathering. The highest donor will have a reserved spot with a his/her name on it for a year. So you could show up anytime and your spot will be waiting. More details to follow just start passing the word around."

At the least, thank you for your time in reading this...
V/r

Anyone planning on catching the Stanley cup game prior to the meet up tonight?

On another topic, I would really like to start learning about tuning. Does anyone have recommended books, e-courses, etc on tuning? Willing to spend the $$ on material if I know its legitimate...

It's only creepy if you saved a lock of the hair.

So I just paid for a hand wash at Francis & Sons Car Wash on the SE corner of McClntock and Guadelupe...

When I got back to work and stepped out of my car I immediately noticed horizontal scratches along my door....exactly in spots/lines that consist with how someone would hand wash a panel. Not just the door but the real panel also.... its as if there was a rock or dirt in the towel they used to hand wash and it occasionally caught the wrong angle and left scratches.

One of the scratches is almost the entire length of the door panel. You can even see where they arched to go above the door handle in their swipe.

..Im flipping out at this pt

WHAT DO I DO???
