Yeah, I'm putting in a solid F-Type vote. With the exciting V8, hot styling, and lux interior, you're going to be happier with it on the road. It'll also be good fun on the track. The infotainment is shit, though, if that's something you care about. Also reliability won't be great. At least the dealerships will be nicer than the Chevy, Toyota, or Ford ones.

That's a plus. Everyone I know who has owned a Jag was on a first name basis with the service guys.

Same here, they visited so often it was an in and out affair. Get your loaner and go.

Out of your options the C8 is the choice IMO. As long as it lives up to the hype....which Chevy has actually had a pretty good track record of doing with the Corvette.

Maybe something loaded and lightly used that won't break the bank with maintenance cost, the asking price accounts for massive first year depreciation, and is within your budget. Oh yeah, it's every bit as gorgeous as the F-Type IMO.

So, what you are saying is it's a better Supra that the Supra?

The F-Type and V8 Vantage were the only cars for a while. one of those was my only goal. I think given my options for the Vantage and power some of the others cars make along with it's dated tech it's probably ruled out at this point.

because the staff is great, they are up there so much or a combo of sorts?

I know it's wildly different but I had a GS430 with a good tune, full exhaust, staggered 19s and lowered. it looked great and launched like a rocket. but other than that I found it to be very bland.

I might give that a look though. the new Lexus dealer by my house is really awesome. very luxurious and the staff is great

the only thing the Supra is good at is being a better Z4.

There's a CPO LC near you. As distinctive as LC is, the new taillights will become the new Altezzas.

Yeah, my Lexus dealer takes customer service to another level. Their lounges with resident chef make terrific breakfasts and service writers are straight out of Victoria's Secret.

You can research any Lexus history on their owner's site.

I love the car from three of the four sides. The front is a complete no-go for me though.

I thought the same until the new Avalon debuted then found LC a little more "mainstream". True, they did a much better job on the rest of the LC.

Thumbs up

I think someone mentioned Evora. Be careful with those, as the car has to be split into two pieces to replace the clutch.

edit: I see you had a GS-R. I had a 94 back in the day. intake, header, exhaust, lowered(springs/shocks), front lip kit and a nice tune. Red on black ahhhh, those were the days.
In that case I voted Z51, though IRL I'd have to test drive almost all of them to actually decide. I still have the GS-R! Actually just got the AC fixed (after being broken for 12 years LOL). Car has had (since 2001) Koni Yellows, AEM CAI, 4-2-1 header (that's actually semi new as the DC SPorts one cracked 3-4 years ago), Greddy cat-back exhaust (actually now just the Greddy muffler [which is SS] as the rest rusted away and I had to have custom fab'd). Also an adjustable lower rear tie bar and a rear strut tower brace (Spoon, so fancy haha). Also added an LSD 4 years ago when the transmission was rebuilt.
