They wouldn't let me drive the im. It was the only one they had. Gresham has a couple. But I was to lazy to drive out there.

The car is really small. Prius c or smaller. Cool tech tho. But 135hp with a car that weighs just shy of 3100lbs. They also discontinued the fj cruiser and xb

Sad to see the FJ go. Same with the xB. But I think the iA and the iM should sell well. Seems like ugly vehicles sell like hot cakes to the general populace as long as they offer things like "safety" "mpg" "cargo room" and "passenger headroom" along with other creature comforts.

When I went in to get my free oil change at the dealership here, one of the sales lady asked if I wanted to trade in the FRS for the IM since I was looking inside.

I simply chuckled and asked if it could slide like the FRS. Car looked ok for what it is, I suppose.

Obviously this sales person just doesn't "get it". One of the key rules for car salespeople is, "...know your products...". Unless you pulled into the dealership with "mom and kid" (or two) climbing out of the 86, why in the world would the question even come up? Ms. Clueless... time to consider a career move or go back and hit the books!

I heard good things about the IM from two guys who works at the local dealer shops in the pdx area. For the money. I would pick up an ia. Cheaper than a corolla, same size more tech. But it is ugly as hell.

The guy that was showing me the IM was really interested in showing me air conditioning and the tilting steering wheel. I didn't have any words to say. I did ask a couple technical questions. But with the car being just release he didn't have to much info on it.
