My only conscious decision resulting in our first child was to have that one more beer! Planning was in no way a factor but I am very happy with the way things worked out since I really like my me time now.
Me time! You should call it what it truly is: weeping softly in the corner.

I'll have to second this one. I love my children, but I think I love them a bit more now that they are out of the house. The teenage years prepare you for them leaving.

Yep! They come to the cottage for the weekend and then just go away again. No fuss or bother. Grandkids are even better for this. Have loads of fun and then just pack em' up and ship them home.

Sorry I'm late to the party...

59..... and still amazed by this "Real Sports Car".

I'm retired and had all these ideas when I was younger what I would end up doing with myself when I retired. Dreams of travel and possibly golf, surfing, biking and just enjoying the Florida retirement life.

Here's what I am doing today....

I still can't get over how much the FRS is so much fun to drive. Almost crazy how you can go out and drive it like you stole it and not get arrested. Where I live there are no bumps in the road. It's really so smooth that it feels like glass. So I am just having the time of my life going out and joyriding. Every time I think the thrill is gone, I find a new corner to go around or some other fun thing. If you are not going near or to the redline in this car.... maybe you are missing out on what it was built for.

Sell it.... Hell no. I tried and went to many dealerships. I'm about to go out and buy some TP about 5 miles away....... There is a store just down the street, but that wouldn't be any fun.

Reminds me of Neil Young.

Think I'll pack it in
and buy a pick-up
Take it down to L.A.
Find a place to call my own
and try to fix up.
Start a brand new day.
Sometimes I think about a Mercedes too....
