There will be no similar solutions. The LS swap community is huge. To the best of my knowledge you are alone on this swap (unless you have a Miata apparently) so you will have to do all the integration leg work from scratch.

Oh and how will headers and a tune give you a 30% power boast?

I don't mean a turnkey solution - just that there's been successful CAN reintegration, which I don't think there has been yet, unless I'm mistaken. As far as the power numbers are concerned, I'm simply repeating what seems to be commonly stated on Honda forums - tune/intake/exhaust is good to push these close to 300.

Seeing that there has been about three people wanting to do this conversion, I don't have any plans to support any CAN integration for any Honda platform.

Why swap an old Honda when you could go get a 2.3 Ecoboost and make 390 at the crank with a factory reflash for the same price? Or for that matter, just about any engine. The LFX has much more support than any Honda stuff...oh and my CAN integration stuff will work with a LFX

And a healthy, cammed and tuned with exhaust 4banger subie motor makes how much power?

Honda motors are great motors. They are, but for what your power goals are..why the hassle.

Ps- and someone elighten me on why the f you would swap in a k-series. Great motors. But wow. To be young and have energy.

Aftermarket cams alone for the FA20 could pay for the bulk of a full swap, MAYBE get you 10bhp at a zillion rpm...

All the 'alternative' engines being suggested really blows my mind...

You think you can buy an engine, install it, get it to fit, and do the ton of custom work required because no one's ever put that engine in this car, all for $1400?

For the price of any reasonable (not difficult) engine swap, you could get a FBM stage 1 block and head and FBM stage 2 turbo and be pushing 700 hp. For a difficult engine swap, you could get two.

Attention dipshits: If you can't figure out how to make a J motor work in this platform, that's fine. No one knows how to yet. But since no one seems to be able to read, I'm not interested in swapping to an LS, Ecotec, Honda K, turbocharging the FA20, installing useless cams or anything other than what the title of the thread states. Start your own thread for all that. Seriously. Give it a rest. wtf....

Then why don't you pay attention when people say that your miracle engine more than likely won't even fit in the car? Jesus. The way you blindly try to suck this V6 off you'd think it could singlehandedly bring about world peace.

"But 300 hp!!!!"

You can make 300 hp on our stock block. For a fraction of the price of any engine swap. Shut the fuck up.

Your technical content has been invaluable. Why don't you contribute to a 'what oil should I use' thread, and impress them with your vast experience there?

Oh this is just fun at this point.

There is turn-key CAN integration with this platform already with more than 3 separate standalone ECU's. ECU's which are more than capable of running a J motor.

Emtron is turn-key, and cheap.
Motec is turn-key, if you can write very very basic code, or pay someone else to... There are people who code Motec for both this platform and Honda.
Somebody configured the Haltech Elite CAN stream to run the factory tach for a 1J swap.

...Or you can do it yourself with an arduino CANBUS shield and the ECU of your choosing.

Let me fix that for you...

"As far as I'm concerned, I have no knowledge or experience of my own, and I adamantly refuse to listen or learn, so I'm just cherry-picking other people's words... Provided the reinforce my ridiculous fantasy."
There. All fixed.

It's a waste of time, really. If someone literally gifted you the components tomorrow, this little fantasy would be no closer to getting off of the ground.

Your turn. Here are your usual tools back.

If you're right and everyone else is wrong, quit being a chicken shit and just do it, or let this two year old thread die.

People on this forum get way too mad. It's like watching children rage at playing call of duty.
