Nooby Question, but what are the differences between them?

Also, when I try to upload any but Stg A01D I get a "The File selected is not complaint"
Im new to tuning so some help would be great. I have an intake and catback exhaust but no headers yet.
There is a CAL ID on your oem rom that should show in OpenFlash Manager. What you see is the different ROM types. The BIN file needs to match what is showing in OF Manager to upload successfully. This is so you don't upload the wrong ROM for your car.

Why not use Romraider?

I've seen mentions that look like selecting octane (beyond choosing an 85 tune) but don't remember that option when I flashed the car. There was a button that looked to me like it should have selected an octane rating but it appeared to be disabled.
How do I make sure I have a 93 octane map, or is there even a way to do that?

I think all the OTS are 91 maps, if you run 93 its just extra protection.

That's a disappointment. I'd like to take full advantage of the available octane.

From what I have read its mostly because 93 isn't available everywhere.

Shiv can only tune with what he has available and he doesn't want to help someone blow up their engine. I guess now is when that ability to share tunes that we were all so excited about comes in. Does anyone have a tune for 93 that is stronger than 91 but still safe that they want to share? Of course a professional would need to review it, just to be safe...I

I'm not a tuner. I'm just like everyone else on this site but I've been tweaking OTS maps that's provided by shiv, I also remembered him saying that those map have a good margin of safety built into them so I wasn't too afraid of the small tweaks that i've made, here's what I have so far with 93 oct gas., car is fully stock , not much gains but so far so good i guess.

I feel stupid for having to ask this but I have gone through rom raider multiple times looking for the rear o2 AF corrections, has anyone seen this? I cannot find the corrections for this anyway.

Also I noticed IAM is stuck at 0...does this not log on stock ROM? 700c?
IAM logging won't work with the stock rom if it's a 700 of 900 rom. It only works with the tunes roms because they are actuall a01 roms

I just got my OFT 1.55 stage 1 tune on Sunday - and Shiv called me on his day off to help me with a snag since I have an early model FR-S - I couldn't be happier with the performance!! It was raining all day on Monday and couldn't go test it thoroughly, then hit traffic almost every time to work this week.. so I finally got to check it out today and I was really impressed. I was already doing about 40 and punched it up to bleepness and hands down much quicker in that range than before.
Smooth linear response compared to stock all the way up to 7400. I notice the cams sounding really nice at around 4500 rpm and up. It didn't sound like this before the tune. Also car runs a hair quieter or perhaps its a slightly different tone and not as loud in the loudest frequency range it was putting out before.
Feels factory fresh!!
That was my experience as well with stage 1 on a stock car. Just installed mine yesterday (v 1.58). I noticed the sound change too and more pull from 4-5 k. The only thing I didn't like is now it seems I have to press the gas pedal down a little further before releasing the clutch when starting out in 1st; I was hoping for less dead zone.

This appears to be proof that if you have 93 readily available there is room to play.
