Shouldn't be so surprised. Curry looks like he's sleeping and Lebron is playing like he thinks he's the best player in the NBA. Refs aren't changing that.

2016: the year of false hope for the entire bay area. Now as long as the Giants get mopped in the WS I'll be happy lol

any suggestions for best way to remove 3M double-sided sticky tape from a used spoiler? It's driving me nuts, every little piece breaks off and won't peel off cleanly...

I've used dry ice to harden it. It still breaks it up, but easier to scrape off than a sticky mess.

Goo Gone: don't over saturate the rag or towel....let it sit on it for a few seconds...few rubs and it should come off..
Clean with water after immediately
Polish then wax after recommended.

So I been talking about buying some sticky tires for my FRS..and instead of doing that today like I should have..I went to LOOK at a shotgun that was on sale...then I saw they had 10/22 Collector's edition on sale..which has a picantinny rail for a scope instead of weaver mounts plus a fancy 50th anniversary etched bolt

$600 later....a shotgun and another 10/22 i'll be waiting on now.....dammit I shoulda went straight home from 86Drive

My husband and I decided to take the cars out Saturday morning. Headed up 101 to Hopland then caught 175 over into Lakeport. Hella fun drive - just crazy turns all over he place. My only complaint is the road surface gets a little rough coming into Lake County which can make it a bit hairy, but the Hopland Grade was incredible and I really got to enjoy my FR-S (and for the record, my husband may have more power than me in his Focus ST, but I was easily pulling away from him in the turns).

Then 175 meets up with 29 for a bit and we were heading back down to the Napa Valley, but got behind traffic and turned off onto Bottle Rock Road behind a new Vette. That was another fun little stretch but we watched the Vette clip a deer. I have literally never seen a deer fly before but I'm guessing he caught a leg and the poor thing went up, spun around, landed, and ran to the edge of the road. The Vette just kept going. It was pretty surreal watching the whole thing.

Me on the radio: ...holy sh*t, did that Vette just hit that deer?
Husband: ...yeah. Yeah he did.
Me: How is he still driving?!

When we caught up with him later we didn't see any front quarter panel damage so if there IS any, it'll be front bumper, but dang...

Bottle Rock hit 175 again further south and then we went into St. Helena and had the best sandwiches ever (Giugni's Deli).

If you've not done this drive, you should. And for those of us in the North Bay, it's a LOT easier to get to than some of the usual East Bay and South Bay drives.
