Not only that, but quality of this header is pretty high up & dyno show it too. Drift-Office did dyno on this header and show good numbers... but that part I'll let Drift-Office post & show the dyno chart (hopefully soon).

Like someone else said having ceramic coated option to reduce the amount of heat that gets into the engine bay would be nice.

I am working on a couple of different coatings, I will post them up soon so you can all see. One will be a black coating and the other will be a aluminzed white coating.

I called them they have a Cerakote version for headers which is very popular with the firearm community. They have black and satin silver. I am getting a sample made in the next couple of days. What color does everyone like, if no one can agree, the sample will be black.

Called a couple of coaters, the amount of heat the coating actually stops isn't as effective as I thought. The coaters said that heat wrap does a better job of keeping heat in the header, but they don't look as pretty.

Also there is a new heat wrap out from DEI, Titanium wrap and it looks amazing.

Here is a link of that wrap if you want to check it out.

Issue to wrapping is, it strap water and causes to rust faster. Yes, wrapping do better job of keeping the heat in the header, but coating help keeping the header from rusting plus keep the heat down to certain point.

that's what i was seeing in my research as well, and Drift office didn't think getting it coated was worth the cost unless i really wanted it done. also seeing the header color change has been pretty cool.

do you drive yours in the winter? if not you could probably save the money on the coating unless

do these headers come with that reflective heat wrap that I have seen on others? I believe they put it over the oil pan to avoid the heat soaking into it. and is it an actual problem with too much heat coming out from the actual headers to affect the engine bay/oil temps?
