Whether you approve, like or dislike this build. One thing is for certain here... when Supra considers this car actually done the total build cost is going to make some people literally POOP their pants and that's no joke! This may end up and likely WILL end up being the most expensive FR-S build ever lol.

@supra2nv

you got the Kart boy short shifter, right?

How is it? I feel I may need to get it... I keep getting stuck at the gate when downshifting from 5th to 4th...

Big Gulp followed by Godzilla. Sounds melodic, basso profondo, not raspy at all, nice!

Try new tranny lube first. I switched to Redline MT-90 after break-in and it's a very noticeable improvement with lower effort and easier engagement. Also, try a new, bigger, heavier shift knob. IMO the OEM device is the worst possible design I've used in some time.

The transmission is smooth as silk in mine... its the fact that I keep getting stuck hitting the gate wall between 4th and 6th... happens a lot... never had that problem before

No problem with the gates, my issue was increasing force needed for engaging any gear. Somehow it became even stiffer after break-in but is butter post-Redline MT-90.

edit: i'm ordering the TRD short shift that's coming out in October hope it's better...it's expensive tho so let me gamble it first

I may sound like I'm out of my mind... but I think I need a long throw shifter... I think my gating problem is due to the short throw of the OEM shifter...

Bro off topic. I have the shifter from the 545i that I was going to install in my e39 m5. It shortens the throw. I never installed and sold the car. U want?
