Here is a discount code for Subaru parts good until March 28. The email I received from them states it is good for up to a 35% discount off msrp. Maybe it can help someone.

Those are the fog lights I ordered and they are black.

I believe someone else ordered the JDM Toyota 86 fog lights and they had chrome surroundings.

correct, but be prpared to pay 3x per fog. i found em from 140-150, so unless your a baller i'd b happy with black realistically because that is absurd

So nice!
Thanks! Just did this DIY it so helpful!
I used the Nigel harness and tapped into the side marker leaving the button and other wires on the passenger side of the inside bumper. I covered it up with eclectrical tape so no issues during the rain.

Thanks again and good luck!

Installed:

No knock on Nigel, in fact I considered his harness, but I didn't like the construction or the cheesy fog light switch that's larger than the other switches. I suppose you can call me a perfectionist.

So I opted to go with TRS relay harness. It's plug and play for ballasts but not halogen. I cut off the ballast ends and soldered on H11 pig tails. It uses a 2 relay design such that each lamp is powered from it's own relay.

It also incorporates a light on each relay so if one were to fail, you only need look at the relay and replace it.

As for a signal, I tapped into the passenger side marker so the lights only come on with light switch in the parking light position and headlight position.

While I was at it, I removed the DRL junction box.

There is no designated top or bottom to the fog lamps. So I designated the lamp such that the writing on the lamp was right-side-up. I modified the fog lamp housing fit flush and remove all gaps. Maybe someone has the gypsie magic to fitting flush without modification but I couldn't. I know some wouldn't feel comfortable modifying brand new lamps they paid $100 for but oh well, it worked.

Onto the pics...

Dont want to go with HID's for the fogs. Looking for some white LED's. Why don't you guys just buy H9 bulbs and harnesses? I'm growing more impatient with my order as the weeks add up.

Something about white or blue fogs just seems so wrong.

my switch broke easily... probably just gonna find a different one. once you push it to turn on, it wont push again to turn off. you have to pull it. and the harness also isnt long enough either, im doing my best to stretch the wire and it might barely fit
