I personally don't see how in STX trim. My car has 0 options & will be lucky to get to 257x.

Oh, and I called Wilwood on those brakes some months ago & they said they wouldn't fit. Bastages!!! Lol

yeah I don't know where else I can loose the weight.. 2572.. and thats with the fuel light on.. Which, BTW will stay on for a LONG LONG time..

Pretty much anything WRX wise will fit.. As the rotors were interchangeable already.. the calipers on the BRZ are from on 08plus WRX..sorry bout that..

Just corner balanced my car yesterday.
Total weight was 2816 with me and 1/3 tank. Minus 175 puts me at 2641.

The only items left for meaningful weight loss are seats, battery and brakes which should put me around 2561.

Yeah, I can't see getting to the low 2500s.

What about aluminum exhaust, seats, lighter tires like r1r?

^I'm running the light weight 17x9 Rpf1s and the light weight 245/35 R1R's. You can really feel the difference. It felt great and gearing didn't feel to affected.

Yeah, fuel light still means more than 2 Gallons of fuel remaining, from my experience.

Well..... that sux.... BBK is Illegal... Min Thickness for stock rotor is 22mm... the new lightweight one is 20.5mm therefore not legal... Better to find out now... I guess..:/

It appears the Essex kit is illegal also for the same reason...20mm thickness of the rotor..

I think it is that the lightweight front big brake kits made by a couple of the major company's are not legal for STX due to the brake disc used is too thin.

They look kind of thin
