I got one of theses types. I found a 70mm version off ebay which should fit inside the intake tube right in front of the MAF.

I also got one of these.

If that AEM one fits inside the actual airbox... thatd be great. You want to attempt to fix the flow before the MAF if possible. Mind you, you will most likely need to shift your MAF scaling on your tune.

Indeed.... I figured you could help with the MAF scaling. Are you interested? Assuming I can make them fit in my box before I send them to you? Would be an interesting experiment..... And it could result in the best intake for the platform....

Innovate Twin Screw Supercharger seems to be the only FI setup that MIGHT fit along with the trd intake. Can anyone confirm this? Looking into FI later down the road.

the TRD intake has a rear facing throttle tube, while the OEM has a passenger facing throttle tube that has a bend in it. So the intake wont bolt up.

It looks like @Ninjin ordered the AEM one. If your wanting to send the mesh one we can for sure test it out and do a quick MAF scale to see how it compares. PM me your number and we can talk this evening.

I am tired of bad info on intakes, tunes, etc! Things like this should be out in the open! I had multiple tuners tell me intakes were "bad" in the past but never explained why until I was able to start just logging cars my self and messing with them.

How the heck did you come to this conclusion? Outlets are in entirely different places and are perpendicular to each other.

I said 'MIGHT'. Was only judging based on online pictures of the engine bay

Well we made some tuning progress... At least log wise. Still have to hit the dyno to see if it actually helps. AFR's are more stable. I still have a few holes in my map, and need to do some general smoothing. This was done with speed density tuning instead of maf. We just completely ignored the MAF sensor. Mind you this log is far more detailed than the other ones i posted. the spots @ 3,600 & 5,000 will be smoothed out soon. We will then need to re-apply some cam changes and re-tweak (SD tuning takes a lot more work than MAF).

Custom map L is a wideband sensor.

I am pretty sure his car is dead right now. Could make testing difficult.
