Ultramarine FR-S with spoiler, fogs and a ginormous rearview in the SAIC parking lot in California right now. They also inexplicably seem to be using the backseat for holding things other than sun visors.

I've been wanting a Moon Watch for a long while now. I plan on getting a new one for myself early next year for my 10th anniversary of being at my job.

By the way, in that picture the watch looks HUGE (bigger than my my watch (which is slightly larger than a Moon Watch) on my puny 6.5" wrist). Is the Google Glass lens wide-angle?

You caught it too! I was going to comment and ask if that was a Speedy or not. Do you frequent any watch forums? I've bought a few used watches (included a ~7 year old speedy pro just serviced), and have no regrets. That's always an option if you don't want to buy new.

It is a nice watch, highly recommend! Google Glass has a pretty wide angle picture. Not wide in the typical sense ( I couldnt easily do a panorama per sey), but its definitely wider than I expected. I'll go out to my car in a bit and take some Glass shots of my watch next to my shift knob so you can see some scale.

There are watch forums? Never knew. Feel kinda silly now.

If it exists there is probably a forum for it.

Yeah, I peruse them every now and again. I even have some recommendations for a couple of very well respected eBay sellers. I'm not exactly sure but new or nearly new is the way I want to go.

I never knew about forums until I got back into watches, either. I'm just an old man at heart apparently, hah.

If you plan on keeping it a long time just go new! I traded quite a few watches so I always went used in case it didn't grow on me. If I could only keep one I would have a realllly hard time choosing between the Speedy Pro and the Planet Ocean.

Back to spotting...so many are popping up. For a year and a half I was the only twin around my neighborhood, Upper Fells. Now there is a black BRZ, red FRS, and galaxy blue FRS that I see daily.

So essentially what I'm saying is if you want to feel what its like, cut the top off of an oem shift knob add some lead to it and wear it around your wrist
