It took about a week for him to get back to me when I bought a backup camera harness from him.

Just used this guide to wire up a cam. Took me 5 minutes. Excellent documentation, thanks a ton.

My Power Magic Pro is set for 12v, with the timer set for infinity and the multi-boot button on. This puts the cam in park mode. I've left it on for a week or more, without the car being driven. The car has never failed to start.

So - no, I have not had any issues with low battery.

Guys, do you know if @SVXdc is still in the business?
I've emailed him twice, first mail over 3 weeks ago and got no response at all.

I want to install my Magic Pro using the factory option connector. Is there an option to buy this harness somewhere else?

@piotrr sry man, still no words from him. We are both looking for the same thing here.

According to my stalking, SVXdc's last activities are July 2, 2015 and his last post was on June 13, 2015.

So, I think he comes online once a month? maybe? I guess we just have to patient here as this is just a hobby of his and he has a real job that pays him real money, haha.
@SVXdc, if you ever come online and read this but don't see my email, please message me as I still believe that you will eventually answer me. I BELIEVE!!!! haha.

I've only taken it off once. Went right back on, no issues.

There's a sliding clip about half way up the pillar trim piece. You need to engage that AFTER fitting the green bit back into its slot. Maybe that's what you're missing?

Well that sucks. Not going to upload again, but here's a link to the album on my flickr site. https://flic.kr/s/aHsjPRzw4f
