Haha. Thank you! But I think yours was more believable. I literally crammed every craigslistism into the smallest paragraph(?) that I could.

At least we get a chuckle out of the bad ones though! I especially like the ones that are "tastefully modified" and then have a gutted interior, A-pillar gauges and rattle-canned brake calipers and tow hooks. :-)

The truly evil ones are all the small-time dealers who put a thousand tags in their listing then repost it every five minues. I hate doing a search for "Alfa" and getting sixty listings for the same white 2002 Ford F-150. :-(

The last time I looked for/bought a collector car the internet didn't exist yet and have never, ever, been on Craigslist so I guess you had the home court advantage there!

I actually like this car with the JGTC kit and all! $80k? Error NO! Try more like $45k as an asking price and he'd be lucky to get $40k. It's too modified IMO.

That's maybe a $30k car depending on parts and install quality. And given the JDM vibe of them, it probably means it's not by a decent 2JZ-familiar shop.

It's an HKS twin turbo upgrade, not stock, but $80K for a 700 whp Supra is like paying $60K for a 250 whp FR-S...
