Weathertech is not responding to numerous requests to make their "digital fit" floor covers available for the FR-S/BRZ. Those would be my first choice.

On the off-chance that anyone wondered if all-weather mats of a new Impreza fit our cars - they don't.

But the 2010+ Legacy/Outback ones do. I've already test fit the Subaru OEM all weather mats from my old Outback and they are almost perfect.

So I'm just gonna jack this thread and ask a question... would you recommend this car for someone who lives in an area that get lake effect snow? I understand that it is a very low car with only rear wheel drive which doesn't sound too good but it does have an lsd with a decent traction control system. Would someone with experience in cold climates care to chime in?

Buy a shop vac. I've lived through numerous New England winters, and I've never owned a set of all-weather mats. Vacuum your car instead of being a lazy bum! It's a sports car that you're supposed to take care of, not a minivan for you to trash.

I'm parking my BRZ during winter. Though I will take it out when the roads are clean and salt free.

Sorry that they're dirty, but they are all weather mats. The only issue with the '10+ Legacy/Outback mats is they don't work with the locks that hold the stock mats in place (but they do sit over them without bulging):
I'll drive it for a few days like this to see if they move around much.

Well good luck finding rubber mats, 'cause there aren't any yet. And I would never tell someone not to wax their car - that's plain dumb as $#!t. You can vacuum your carpet once a week and it will stay clean; most people are just too lazy.

It won't help the front but for those thinking of adding sand bags in the back the Impreza 5 door cargo mat fits perfect. I also suggested to Weathertech.com they move on getting a mat for the BRZ/FR-S...they seem to be dragging butt...maybe if we all submit a request http://www.weathertech.com/service/contact/
