I agree, if a car has a perfectly fine working and powerful engine then leave it in there.

Now if the engine is... ruined or your car doesn't have an engine...by all means go nuts.

Don't worry, this guy is Pat Cyr from Canada, a pretty good drifter in DMCC, you may have seen him in proam circuit last years in the states with his turbo F20C powered green AE86 coupe

And this engine was one laying in his shop, he has too much AE86 around I think...

I'm sure there's a good reason for this particular swap...

Naw. I sold my AE86 to get the FR-S and the one thing I miss is the 4AGE singing. Still got the AE82 so can still get my 4AGE melody.

No by putting the 4age in they actually put some real soul into it.

I actually measured it up to see if the FA20 would fit in an AE86, but the FA is just too wide. You would have to chop out the frame rails on the AE to make it fit. It would be a hell of a lot of work!

Thank goodness this is a joke! The 4A-GE bluetop is such a poor piece of 80's engineering. Not to mention it's probably heavier than an FA20.

Poor? In my own opinion, I think it was one of the best motors ever produced in the 80's.
