The hoses under the intake manifold, I'm mobile so I can't do a great search right now, but I believe if you follow the hoses under the manifold you have two hoses (maybe three) and you need clamp both ends. They could pop off at any time, so it's best to secure them from the start! There are some pictures in this thread but I think another thread dedicated to this as well.

Yeah, I'm mid intake manifold removal right now trying to get to mine. I'm following the link in the first post of this thread "hose clamp install" to try and fix this problem

Edit: it's the braided hoses that I'm going after right now

Yeah... I slipped a large zip tie under the hose, created a loop, pushed it to the back, placed a flathead through the runner gaps, the edge onto the join, and made it tight as hell. Dyno days at 15 psi track day and canyon runs and freeways pulls with no popping off!

That's not to say it's better than a clamp, certainly not, but definitely the less intensive option that seems to have worked for me. Your results will vary, lol

Is it a short hose, about 4" long, running front to back under the AC compressor?
Held on with spring clamps?

Not sure how to post images from my phone, but this is my culprit. A 6 inch hose that is right under the intake manifold. Not sure how I'm going to get it back on quite yet... :eek:

Yeah getting the thing back on was another reason that influenced my decision to do a large zip instead!

Also, there is a horn in the way of mounting the intercooler.
The instructions don't mention it at all.

Bent the horn bracket out of the way

Yayy, I only clamped the one hose that I pulled out. I'm going to leave the other ones for another day. Maybe a day when I have a bit more patience haha
