Merry Christmas, bitches.

Also, happy second day of Hanukkah for the Jews out there.

That's the limit of my holiday knowledge, so that's all I got.

Traditional Christmas rack of baby back ribs. Not traditional, btw.

I'm from Alabama; what do you expect from me?

My wife was going to make pork and beef ribs for Hannukah dinner. I'm like, "Nope."

We had salmon and latkes. Actually a kosher-style dinner, come to think of it. Fish doesn't count as meat.

Well, let's see, it's Monday morning ....... and I'm here in my robe chatting with you folks.

My son, who is visiting for the holidays wanted to go up into the mountains hiking. He has hiked almost all over the world and ....... when he takes a "hike", he doesn't mess around.

So, I could drive him up there and hike with him (where I would make it just off of the trail head parking lot when my hips would start screaming at me) OR, I could sit in a cold car for 3-4 hours, waiting for him, OR I could toss him the key to my FR-S and said, have a good hike.

Now, this ol boy knows his limitations, so I tossed him the key and off he went. mrs humfrz sensed me being a bit apprehensive about him driving my FR-S in the mountains in the winter time ....... and said "look at this way, your precious FR-S will be safer with him driving it in the mountains, that YOU driving it"!

Now, I'm OK ..........

humfrz

You a good dad.

I tried tossing my keys to my dad but he refused to drive my car. He also didn't want to go on a drive with me few months back.

My wife's family is Jewish (she converted to Christianity about 30 years ago). With the Holidays falling together this year we had a combined dinner at my in-laws house. So we had latkes and Honey Baked Ham.

Obviously her Parents are not the strictest of Jews, but to be fair to them they provided the food and got a gift certificate from the Hospital they volunteer at for the ham. So, in a way, they just couldn't help themselves! (and it should be said I am the cheapest of any of the family members so I can say that!)

You should convert to Judaism for the street cred.
