Without giving 2much (haha) away, like we suspected it does not work well with an NA application. It loses some power mid-range but actually picked up power downlow, didn't see that coming.

We're moving onto FI testing which is what this manifold was designed for.

We have another idea for NA application we want to test once funds become available .

that does seem like a counter intuitive reaction from the engine. hopefully it will support FI applications as intended.

nice work!

Thanks!

I can promise you it's a lot more fun looking from the outside in. There is a lot of work and money that goes into all of this stuff. I work a minimum of 60 to 70 hours a week currently. It is our dream to make this a full time gig though, I think that is when it will become more fun.

Oh I can only imagine! Its similar in terms of what goes into projects here, they just aren't as fun. I'd love to spend time and effort on something that is much more exciting even if it does mean cutting back on social time and maybe thinning out the wallet a bit. Based off what I've seen so far I have no doubt you guys will do just fine in the future, clearly you are driven and have the technical know how to make good quality products. Its a solid success recipe

That is strange. What did it do to the top-end and did you get a dyno compare of it against the stock one.
I would have expected top-end gain and maybe a little midrange loss if it was 5-6" from head face to top of bellmouth.
Did you get chance to retune it properly? Removing the design flaws of the unequal length stock intake runners would for sure need mapping to make the most of it.
Or are we talking a monumental loss up top here?

^ ditto. Very curious about the tuning process, who did it, their experience with the engine, etc.

I understand that there are only 24 hours in a day and you have you're hands full as it is but are you able to expand just a little on this? Given the wailings of the na crowd just a hint would give me/us a glimmer of hope that there is at least another 3 & 1/2 hp to be released from a na engine.

I don't know if it will benefit an NA application yet. I'd rather wait, build it, test it, and then show the results.
